We Can’t Wait To Meet You

What To Expect

Our worship service is centered on the reading and proclamation of God's Word, congregational singing, prayer, and communion. Here is what your morning will look like.

  • What To Expect On A Sunday

    Singing

Congregational singing helps us learn the Word, build one another up, and give glory to God.

    Expository Preaching

A portion of the Bible is explained and applied as an anchor for our worship and guide for Christ-centered living.

    Communion

We examine ourselves honestly, remember the Lord's death in the bread and the cup, reflect on the assurance of forgiveness and proclaim our hope in his return.

    Offering

Giving is an act of worship. First-time guests are not expected to give.

  • What should I wear?

At CFC you will see everything from sweats and joggers to suits and jackets. While we aim to dress modestly, there is no dress code. Come and be comfortable.

  • What is expository preaching?

Some preaching features very little Bible. Expository preaching seeks to let the Bible speak and be the center of attention of the entire sermon. We read it, explain it, interpret it and apply it to everyday Christian living.

  • What does the church believe?

Christian Fellowship Church is a Reformed Baptist church. On our about us page we describe our identity as Christian, Protestant, Evangelical, Reformed, and Baptist.

  • Are there Bible classes?

Yes. Our CFC Courses meet Sundays at 9:15 a.m. with rotating topics. These vary from deeply theological to highly practical. We also have Growth Groups on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 8:00 a.m. where the scripture passage from Sunday is revisited, discussed, compared with other passages, applied and prayed over.

  • What is available for my kids?

CFC Kids serves children during Sunday School with The Gospel Project curriculum in a safe environment with vetted volunteers. The nursery is available for ages 0-3 during the sermon with a simple sign-in/sign-out process. Children are also welcome in the main worship service.

  • How can I get involved?

There are several ways to get connected at CFC.

Our Sunday Services are the best time to come and get to know us. Coming early for CFC course is a great way to meet people in a less formal setting. We will also all hang out and get lunch together after church, you are welcome to join!

We have prayer night the first Sunday of each month from 6-7pm which anyone is welcome to attend.

For college age through your 30s, our Young Adults gathering meets on the third Friday of each month for fellowship, games, and connection.

Students in 6th–12th grade can join Youth Group on Sunday nights from 6:00–7:00 p.m.

In order to serve at our church you must first become a member. Reach out if you are interested in more information about membership!

If you’re not sure where to start, any of these are great entry points into life at CFC.

  • What denomination is CFC?

CFC does not belong to a denomination but is a Reformed Baptist church in that we have adopted the 2nd London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689). See our about us page to learn more!

  • What does Reformed Baptist mean?

Being Reformed Baptist means we believe the whole Bible fits together as one unified story of God's grace. We believe salvation is entirely a work of God — from beginning to end — and that no one earns their way to Him. We believe the Scriptures point us to Jesus Christ as the center of God's plan of redemption. And as Baptists, we baptize those who personally profess faith in Christ and we value meaningful church membership.

  • What is church membership?

Church membership isn't about status or formality. It's a way of saying, 'This is my church family.' Rather than simply attending, members commit to building meaningful relationships, receiving encouragement and shepherding, and participating in the shared life and mission of the church. Membership also includes a voice in key decisions and opportunities to serve in trusted roles.

  • How do I become a member?

Becoming a member is a simple but intentional process. It begins with a foundation of regular attendance so you can get to know us and learn more about life at CFC. During that time, we offer a membership class that explains what we believe and what membership involves. You'll also meet with one of our elders to share your testimony and ask any questions you may have. The goal of this process isn't mere formality — it's to encourage you, help you feel confident in your decision, and prepare you for meaningful belonging and service in the life of our church.

The Hallmarks of CFC

We believe the Five Solas of the Reformation clarify the gospel that should be central to the faith and practice of every church. They define the hallmarks of our community.

By Grace Alone
Sola Gratia

God reached out to us first, so our lives are lived in thankfulness toward Him. We seek to extend this grace to each other and to all no matter their record of success or failure. We're not a gathering of perfect people. We're a fellowship of forgiven people.

We're a fellowship of forgiven people.

Through Faith Alone
Sola Fide

We are saved through faith that produces works, not faith in conjunction with works. Therefore what we believe determines what we do. We look to keep sound doctrine alive in practical works that show the vitality of our faith. We love with our heads, our hearts, and our hands.

We love with our heads, our hearts, and our hands.

Christ Alone
Solus Christus

We are a Christ-centered church which means that the gospel is central to everything. We boast in nothing else but the redeeming work that God has accomplished on the cross through Christ. We seek to center every aspect of our lives on the supremacy of Christ.

The gospel is central to everything.

Scripture Alone
Sola Scriptura

The Bible is the final and ultimate authority for what to believe and how to live. We interpret Scripture in community with other Spirit-led believers now and across the ages. We work together to understand it well. We work together to live it well.

We work together to understand it well. We work together to live it well.

Glory To God Alone
Soli Deo Gloria

The purpose of all things and every person is to bring glory to God. We seek to live lives that point to His worth, not ours. We treasure God's glory above our own. This is the only way to a joyful and meaningful life regardless of our circumstances.

This is the only way to a joyful and meaningful life.
